Portfolio Manager
Leon joined Matrix Fund Managers in November 2015 as a portfolio manager. He is a Chartered Accountant (SA) and has over 25 years of experience in the investment industry. Previously, Leon was head of equity research and a portfolio manager at RMB Asset Management which he joined in 2009.
Prior to that, Leon was head of research at RMB Morgan Stanley where he helped build the research effort as part of the joint venture between Morgan Stanley and RMB. His offshore experience includes working for Morgan Stanley’s Equity Research Department in London where he analysed European companies and was also a member of the firm’s Global Valuation and Accounting Team.
Leon is currently a portfolio manager on equity and multi-asset strategies at Matrix.
